This series wanders through the borderlands of reality and imagination amid the terrain of an increasingly digitized existence. With a few mouse clicks, real time and real presence come unhinged and portals to multiple digital frontiers slide into view. The reality of the virtual has become so embedded in the contemporary mindset that regression to nonvirtual living begins to seem implausible. In constructing these images, I tried to suggest some of the dimensions of digital reality – warped concepts of time and distance, juxtapositions of scale and abstract geographies charted out of ether.
